Well were are here again, older and bolder in 2014 and ready for another merry Christmas day here in Brisbane.
I am writing this while waiting for the family to wake up and this shouldn’t be too far away going on past years.
This is my third Christmas online and I am still learning a lot as I go and also just starting to get back a little time as we have a little one too.
Looking outside it is an overcast day this year so far.
We are meant to be getting hit with storms in the coming days, so currently it is a cool temperature and this is very unusual for Christmas day in Brisbane as it is usually hot and sticky.
This morning the birds have been up since 5am and making lots of noise and I can hear the constant noise of pigeons in the tree next door.
I have the window open to listen to what has been going on in our area and there is plenty of people up and about already and starting their day.
Kids are already up and having fun in their back yards, people walking their dogs and also plenty of dogs barking too.
Our Christmas tree is set up and ready to go with presents under it and the wake up time for The Bride is no earlier than 6.30am.
The cameras are charged and ready for christmas footage and I can see Santa has visited too as the food and drink on the table has gone.
Soon the silence will be broken by excited footsteps and excited noisy chatter, so we will enjoy it while we can because as soon as they grow up this excitement will change and fade a little with every year.
So no matter where you are in the world, have fun, laugh and have a merry Christmas day from my family to yours!
