Continuing with the firewood story, I have made the call to the company and booked a time for the delivery of the firewood to our house, which would obviously be split and delivered firewood.
I left a message at first and got a prompt call back in the space of around half an hour, now as I work in sales that is good going for a business, I hope as their business grows that doesn’t get lost.
So the phone call consisted of checking the;
- Price of the Firewood = $130 = Correct
- Delivery of the firewood to our area on the Northside Ok = Correct
- Setting day and time of delivery = Easy = Early morning before work and within 2 days
(* Extra Note : Updated Firewood Pricing for you :
It’s still best to call Wyatt on the mobile number below to make sure you have the best price for firewood for your area, but here’s the rough prices he gave me last time I saw him.
- Narangba / Burpengary firewood = $130
- North Lakes firewood = $150
- Chermside / Bracken Ridge = $170
- North Lakes = $150
- Inner Brisbane = $180
Also, stocking fee may apply if they have to carry the wood too far!)
So the day and time were set and now we just had to wait.
The morning came and so did the delivery, they were on time and also at first glance I was thinking, that’s not much wood really, until it was unloaded and 1 metre cubed is quite a lot and to tell you the truth, for the ease of delivery and cost, it’s only a phone call away to get another load in and because we aren’t sure how much firewood we will go through in a Queensland winter, as we have only been in this house since last winter, we only may need one trailer load of firewood to get us through.
So, great service, good firewood, they helped unload the firewood and also I have noticed since then they have done a letterbox drop in our area too with their brochure, smart cookies and easy marketing, with a cold snap inevitable this easy marketing should create a bit of business here for them on the Northside of Brisbane.
And finally, if you want to buy the best firewood on the Northside of Brisbane I wouldn’t have any hesitation to call;
Wyatt on 0418 953 214 : Firewood for Sale : Split and Delivered Brisbane Northside
Tell him “Troy” said to call and you found out about him from Troy Spro’s website.
Who knows he may cut you a deal and you’ll save a little more, enjoy the warmth!
Lastly, just so you know, I first started using Wyatt for firewood a few years ago and the pricing I have written about is Ok for local firewood delivery in the area we/I live in Brisbane, but for outside his normal firewood delivery areas you may have to pay a little more to cover petrol costs.
Keep an eye out here and I’ll ask to get some more details/pictures off him so I can keep you in the loop.

Ha!
Thanks for the visit Wild Wood and also the very wise words about buying firewood early too.
Yes, I have been guilty of this in the past, I cannot lie.
I would say the best bet is to get on the phone as soon as Autumn hits to beat the rush?
This will also give yourself time to clean the chimney / fireplace and setup the first fire ready to go.
I hope everyone reads this and plans ahead for next winter so Wild Wood and other firewood companies blood pressure remains low when winter hits!
