What is the drive time for travelling from Brisbane to Bundaberg

Now I have been travelling from Brisbane to Bundaberg for many, many years now and I was reminded of this more than ever when I went to see one of my old customers from my last job role after I finished my work day today.

I have been seeing him in Bundaberg for around eight years and this has been through three different shops he has been a tenant in with his business.

So this also give you an idea on how many years I have been driving there as I started these trips before his shop was even opened.

Drive Time and Travel Distances

The trip today started early as per normal travel and Google Maps said that I was in for a trip of around three hours and forty minutes to get to Bundaberg today.

In saying that also if you are planning to travel to Bundaberg and you don’t live on the Northside of Brisbane as I do you need to allow a bit more extra time especially if you are travelling out of the heart of the city and also if you are leaving through the peak hours of traffic.

I leave early generally and I get straight out onto the highway where there is very little traffic early, let alone travelling up north.

The trip was great this time and currently there were only two road works hold ups towards the end so it didn’t cost too much time, where as the last times I have had to travel up to Bundaberg there has been extensive delays.

I tell you what the new pieces of road they have put in are great too, so the pain has been worth it for a great drive, I can only imagine the caravans and trucks drivers must be happy with it,

So my trip today travelling from Brisbane to Bundaberg took 4 hours and 10 minutes.

So a bit more than Google told me but I did have a toilet break and also the road works too.

My last trip took just over the four hour mark also so it was very good time this time again, which gives me more time for work.

So it’s been another great day here in Bundaberg and I’m sure it won’t be my last.
