I haven’t fertilised the lawn with Charlie Carp for quite a while although I have fertilised the garden with it a while back, so the time for fertilising the lawn had come.
The lawns, so it says on the side of the tub are ment to be done every month so I was well overdue in that respect.
It has been dry and the lawns have been struggling to keep their green, so just after the last little downpour of rain I thought to myself I’ll give the lawns a bit of something to eat to boost their growth and also give them a bit of hydration at the same time.
I felt sorry again for my neighbour’s who were having a bit of a gathering around their bar-b-q and the neighbour decides to spray his lawn with a organic fish fertiliser, lets just say there was the smell of fresh fish in the morning air.
I give all the lawn a pretty good dosing, I have the Charlie Carp concentrate and I pour the required amount into one of those bottles that the water sprays over the top and mixes itself with the concentrate, this is a Charlie Carp bottle too so no cross contamination there to be had.
The Father in-law was telling me about someone who put fertiliser into their weed spray bottle and gave the lawns and garden a good spray, well you can imagine the outcome, not pretty to say the least.
This process for the fertilising lawn takes around the hour and a half mark and I have to fill up the bottle three time through the process too, I also spray the hedges too while I am at it.
I should give the lawn a spray of fertiliser more often to be fair, but time takes its toll and there is only so many hours in the day and so it will probably more likely bi-monthly it will get done.
