So you want a job as an auto electrician in the mining industry here in Australia.
The auto electrician job description can also be described as an automotive electrician, automotive electrical fitter, and also automotive electrical mechanic.
There are so many different jobs and careers out there that are involved in and around the mines and mining community, lots of jobs for inexperienced workers and also jobs that are for workers who have a lot more experience too with a degree and/or with a trade behind them.
Sometimes there are jobs available that are for the person that just has the life work experience in that particular job role or in a certain field of expertise.
I thought I’d write about them here as I was an electrician in my earlier working life and have an interest in most other trades as well as I worked with and around them on many job sites over the years.
Most of my friends I grew up with in New Zealand have different trades and jobs too.
We were mainly in and around the paper mill industry (That’s right we were paper makers) and now they and I work in different places all over the world with quite a few still settled in here in Australia.
Here I’ll try and let you know, what an auto electrician basically does, what you might do to get a job as an auto electrician and how to get started in this job if you want to.
