Tony’s Pizza, is this the Best Pizza in Townsville?

Written by Troy Spro

On my trip to Townsville this time I was lying in the Hotel room, which is just out of the city centre, thinking to myself what am I going to eat tonight, I usually have a cooked chook from the supermarket and salad which lasts for two meals, then I remembered that I had been to Tony’s Pizza with a friend who used to live in Townsville when I used to stay at his place on my trips.

When you first drive up to Tony’s Pizza, which is close to The Strand, it isn’t a flashy over the top franchise and it is still the same as I remembered it from many years ago, the staff are friendly and the shop smells awesome, I got the standard away from home non vegetarian meat lovers pizza, it was great, plenty of toppings and flavour to boot.

Tony’s Pizza menu covers all the bases with spaghetti, lasagne and ravioli dishes, also homemade garlic bread and then there are the pizzas, 16 pizzas to choose from in 3 sizes, the medium would do a couple easy and you get what you pay for in regards to pizzas I have found.

Tonys Pizza, the Best Pizza in Townsville?

The types of pizzas at Tony’s are Napoletana, Aussie, Texicana, Americana, Tropical, Vegetarian, Supreme, Marinara, Prawn and Garlic, Chicken and Pineapple, Mexicana, Margherita, Mushroom, Capricciosa, Garlic and Meatlovers.

So if you think pizza places in Townsville, think Tonys Pizzas the Italian Sensation for quality fresh ingredients as their pizzas are very tasty indeed.
