I went down to have a look this morning at the Costco Brisbane North Lakes site as I had to get a few things from across the road at Bunnings and the Costco construction is coming along just nicely.
It really is quite close to us as we are in Narangba, so it will be easy for Brisbane’s Northside to get to the area and easy to find too.
As I have said, the only problem will be if you are coming from Brisbane travelling North, the intersection there is almost banked up to the highway from early on as it is, let alone on the day or weekend when Costco opens.
Anyway, here is a few pictures as promised from this mornings trip out.
As you can see there is still alot of work to be done, I couldn’t get a shot looking down due to the fact;
- I don’t own and aircraft and couldn’t get an aerial shot of the Costco site
- There was alot of work going around in the area from the council etc and so lots of cones and trucks around so I couldn’t get into the area I wanted too
But this won’t deter me, I should be able to get the shot I want the next time I am out there.
This is the left hand view of the site, as you can see the petrol station roof is on and the rest of the site is well underway.
This is the right hand shot that takes in more of the main Costco building with the petrol station roof just visible on the left.
This is the last photo shot of Costco Brisbane from this morning from a different spot.
To the left is the petrol station and to the right of this I’m guessing is going to be the monster Costco car park to take care of all the lovely customers they will have going through the doors.
