This Error Message No. FE054 comes up on my Netbank Login every now and then for me when I try to log onto the Commonwealth Bank and sometimes even while I’m already logged in.
I am up pretty early working most mornings and so I log on to net banking with the CBA Bank around 4am or around 5am generally.
After I log on to banking, I can see our accounts and when I click to see the transactions for each account, Netbank and Commonwealth log me out with the Error Message No. FE054.
The funny thing is that when that particular error comes up it isn’t explained properly through Commonwealth Bank NetBank Social Media pages at all.
If they are asked about it, they generally come back with the reply “We are glad it’s back working again” as the people who have asked have been able to log on again.
I also found when I went searching for this Error Message FEO54 on the Commonwealth Bank NetBank website’s there is no answer either, very strange.
So what is does the Netbank Error Message No.FE054 mean?
From what I can tell about the CBA NetBank Error FE054 and also after doing a bit of searching online it is either a browser problem or just a maintenance thing happening with NetBank.
So in saying that and also trying to get to the cause of the Error Message No. FE054 from Commonwealth Bank, I’m really not 100% sure about the meaning of the error.
I’m only sure in the fact that if I close my browser window and reopen my online banking a while later, the error is no longer there.
The NetBank Error FE054 doesn’t seem to have a particular time it happens either.
So it’s not occurring at the same time of the day every day, which would indicate to me maybe a server restart or maybe even security upgrades are happening on the Commonwealth Bank NetBank site at that time I Login and then try take care of some banking.
So my search for the ever elusive meaning of Error Message No. FE054 from Commonwealth Bank NetBank will continue on.
Hopefully you aren’t just about to leave for the airport to travel overseas and need to setup payments for while you are away and this error happens, very stressful.
The only time I have a search around for the meaning of this error is when it happens while I’m banking, so if I find out what it definitely is and have hard concrete evidence, I’ll let you know.
Until then, if you get the error, boil the jug, have a coffee and do something else for a while before trying again!
