Sorry, your NetBank is Temporarily Unavailable

Written by Troy Spro

I logged onto NetBank this morning, this is the Commonwealth Banks online banking area and got in alright but none of our accounts were showing except one.

I had a quick look around as I have had a few bank errors come up in the past and had done a bit of research on them.
So after realizing that I couldn’t do anything I logged out.

From then on I got this message on the screen just below the Commonwealth NetBank logo.

“Sorry, NetBank is temporarily unavailable. We’re aware of this issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible. We recommend you try again later. (FO1020)”

Error Message No. FE054 from Commonwealth Bank, What is this error?

After doing a quick scout around I have found that usually means the site is down for maintenance and having an outage while they either repair or upgrade.

I have still been locked out of NetBank for a while now and like others was hoping to transfer some money and also pay some bills at the same time before the kids wake up and the day starts for us.

Ah well, you can’t plan for these things and I’m sure if NetBank is temporarily unavailable for me it will be for a lot more others too if not country wide.

Imagine if you were leaving for the airport to head overseas and needed to transfer money before you left or were starting to pay wages this morning for your business.

So this problem for NetBank and Commonwealth Bank this morning with online banking may just be maintenance although it seems a strange time to be doing it as I got to log in the first time.

I would think that Commonwealth would schedule maintenance on NetBank for really early in the morning and just be coming back online as everyone was waking up and ready to start their day, but that would be only in a perfect world.

I’m sure I’ll be able to log in again soon.
