02 8892 9008 phone number keeps on calling my mobile phone.
They don’t leave a message and this happens generally in time blocks, so maybe 1 call a day for five days in a row more or less, so it can get a bit annoying.
This has happened to me a few times now on my mobile, so it seems that 02 88929008 wants to really get hold of me for some reason.
Well this prompted me write about it like I did with the bank error page that kept on popping up too during my morning banking sessions, if it has happened to me a few times, it probably has happened to a few other people too, so I’ll write about it.
After a bit of investigation online and also from calling 02 88929008 back, this is what I have found out for you (It may be right and may be wrong at this time, I’ll keep you posted)….
02 88929008 is a landline number from a survey/retail company called Inchcape, it is in NSW as the area code for Sydney is generally is 02, when you call back outside of working hours you receive a message “Hello and welcome to Inchcape, you have currently rung out of working hours” and then they prompt you to leave a message for them.
I’m guessing from searching online that Inchcape takes care of the retail parts of many car brands and dealerships (Isuzu, Kia, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Volkswagen and more)and in turn runs their customer satisfaction survey arm too.
I’m also guessing that after the car I drive was serviced this engages this company to give me a call to see how it went and how they can improve, maybe next time they will leave a message, maybe next time I’ll answer the call, either way I’ll keep you updated with the news from 02 88929008.
