The Moustachery New Farm was my next visit on my quest to find the best Barbers in Brisbane.
Now I have visited the other and original The Moustachery before and The Moustachery New Farm quite a few times from when it was opened.
The Moustachery New Farm has plenty of parking at the front of the shop and also around the corner if needed.
Like I have said above, I visited here just after it was opened and pretty much the experience and the barber shop has changed with every subsequent visit, in a good way of course.
What can I say about The Moustachery Barbering and Grooming in New Farm?
The haircuts have been good and the beard trims have been great as well, which has kept me going back a few more times.
I have noticed since I have been donning the beard I have had to become a little more picky as the churn and burn type of barbers that have popped up around Brisbane don’t seem to cater for beards and also the problem of the turn style staff with you not knowing who you will get from cut to cut and trim to trim.
This is one of the good things about The Moustachery, you can get the same chaps giving you a cut pretty much most of the time at both of their barbershops.
The Moustachery New Farm from the time you walk in to the time you leave is a great experience for your eyes, your hair, your beard and your wallet.
As you can see there is plenty to look at and if you follow them on social media there is new additions and improvements to the experience coming all the time.
The first cut I had in The Moustachery New Farm was from the owner, which was great as I got a great feel for the barber shop, where it is heading and a little bit of reasons for the design too.
Most of the items in the shop have a story behind them and fit into what the barbershops are all about.
From the taxidermy through to the music being played, it all fits into the experience of getting your hair cut at The Moustachery.
I haven’t had to wait too long most times of the week here either, although you can feel a little bit of pressure building as they get a bit busier and the waiting line grows.
The Moustachery New Farm is a walk in only barbershop and generally there are one or two barbers working depending on the time of the week and the time of the day.
If you do have to wait, it is pleasant enough with all the surrounding’s, there are refreshments on site and also a killer coffee shop next door as well if you need them.
So overall a great experience I would recommend to anyone to check out, either to become a regular or if you are visiting Brisbane and want a haircut, you might as well head on in to The Moustachery New Farm.
From the above photo’s too, it has changed so much since then again, so make sure to check out their social media account to see the latest pics.
Here is the address for you, make sure you give yourself a bit of time to enjoy the experience too.
