I had my delivery of firewood supplies turn up today, as per usual they were right on time with the load of firewood for me and my family to last a fair way through the colder months.
This is the second year using my local firewood supplier and after loading the wood into the shed it is the same volume as last year for the same price, you can’t complain about that for keeping the family warm.
This time I had to only text through to see when I could get delivery and also how much it was too.
As he only had a car and trailer this time I had to haul the firewood down to the back shed with the wheel barrow, it ended up being about five loads down the back in the end, so a good sweat up going up and down the hill we have to the side of the property to get down the back.
So all in all I am pretty happy with the result of today’s efforts as we are now ready for a colder snap that may happen here in Brisbane over the coming weeks.
I just have to now, as I have said before fix the top of my chimney up, this is called either a chimney cowl or a chimney cap I have found out and there a fair amount of different types too.
I haven’t been able to find a local supplier in Brisbane for cowls searching online as yet and I want to buy it locally if I can, hopefully I’ll find one sooner than later, any help would be appreciated.
Anyway, if you want your firewood delivered to your door in Brisbane’s North Side you can’t go past who I have used for a couple of years now for great firewood and also quick service, I’m saying that now as I got in early though, give him a call before he gets too busy when it gets colder.
Also I found out today that if you are outside of the main delivery area here n the North Side of Brisbane the firewood may be a little dearer than what I got it for, obviously businesses have to cover the petrol cost of delivery, so fair enough.
