Now recently I have had some problems with ants down in the back shed, this has meant that I have had to look into spraying for ants as it has turned into quite a bad problem reasonably fast.
I have had to store a few bits and pieces of my music gear down there as I haven’t had much room in our car shed or in the bottom room.
I thought the equipment would be ok down there, but I was wrong and only found this out in the last weeks.
My friends the ants, the small black ones have been making their nests inside my guitar pedals, I’m not sure how long for but I had to pull most of them apart and spray with normal fly spray to kill them straight off.
This has been over a period of weeks, they kept on coming back and I have also found many sub nests in other equipment in the shed, very painful.
So the plan is was and is to spray a mild, cheapish ant and pest spray in and around the edges of the shed every month and so make the process of spraying for ants and easy one, cost and time effective too.
I have bought a 3 litre pack of the Brunnings Ant Kill, I can tell it is pretty mild from the smell and I have done my first spraying of the shed, I sprayed the bottom edge inside and also along each of the ledges around the middle and the top, then a layer around the outside of the shed too.
