To find the Gtrax Barber in Redcliffe to get a haircut you have to keep your eye out for the street and keep an eye out for a car park too when you get in the area.
It also is called the “Gtrax Urban Style Barbers” if you are trying to find it in your search engines to get more information.
I went past Baker Street once and had to come back but found it in the end.
It is down a little street that runs through from Sutton Street to the main beach road which is Redcliffe Parade, with no parking in front of the shop you have to makes sure you find a car park reasonably close, which isn’t a problem in the area as there are many and you only have to walk a short while to get into the shop.
You can either phone and book or just walk in with Gtrax Barber which suits if you are just heading in at lunchtime or just after and don’t have an exact time you can be there.
There are quite a few barbers that work too on the busier days so Gtrax keeps on top of their clients and there isn’t much waiting.
I arrived just after lunch, was welcomed when I arrived and took a seat to wait, there were two barbers on today and both of them were cutting when I arrived.
Looking around Gtrax Barber Shop there is a green, yellow and red racing strip that runs around the shop and leads into a mural down one end, so these stripes are Rasta Bob Marley colours, there is a couple of couches to wait on, TV to watch, games to play and funky tracks playing, so this place has a good vibe from the beginning with plenty to look at too.
I didn’t have to wait long and one of the barbers was finished and I was welcomed into the chair.
The standard please, beard fade into a number two on the sides fading into the slightly longer top and lastly, a track on one side for the part.
The barber had been working here for quite a while and he was pretty good, while I was getting the chop the other barber was doing the housework cleaning up, they take a bit of pride in this shop as it was very clean compared to some.
The owner wasn’t in as he works elsewhere and comes back in patches, so hopefully I’ll run into him next time I go there.
The banter was good too with plenty to talk about happening in sports at the moment and also the kiwi connection too, so this makes the haircut seem to go faster.
Before I knew it we were done and I was handing over the card to pay.
So all in all a great experience at Gtrax Urban Style Barber Shop and a great cut for the price too.
If you are out Redcliffe way and looking for a Barber and an even more elaborate haircut than I got, head on down to Gtrax Barber in Redcliffe for a cut and maybe a few tracks, you’ll enjoy it and get a great cut too.
Just looking at their Facebook page too there is plenty of great designs you can get done on your dome rather than just the stock standard short back and sides.
There is nothing wrong with going to get a fresh cut, listening to some good music and walking out of the place confident and feeling great.
Until next time Gtrax….

No worries Jezzy,
Anytime I know I am in Redcliffe and I need a haircut I’ll be back in to Gtrax.
It’s good to give credit where credit is due sometimes as it is a hard task to find good barbers and get good haircuts consistently if you are only going to shopping centre hairdressers.
Good vibe, good cut and an excellent barber shop experience…. Gtrax at Redcliffe
