Life is a Highway, Travel with Me
After having our vegetarian meal in the Myer Centre on the G20 Brisbane weekend it was time to head off up the Queen Street Mall towards the Treasury Casino and the Victoria Bridge.
There certainly were a lot more Police and Security up this end too, I’d say with the main drive through entrance being up this end of the city it would have to be a bit more strict.
We only saw one Motorcade come through while in this square and also a group of Police on motorbikes.
As you would have seen so far we ventured into Brisbane City CBD on the Friday Public Holiday for the G20 Summit.
Because we went on the train into the city it would of been too much to take food in for us and the kids so we knew we would have to buy something.
We had decided to go into the Myer Centre in the Queen Street Mall as the have a quite big food hall with a big variety of different foods.
Resigned to the fact we may just have to buy sandwiches for the kids or a burger and chips or similar it was a pleasant surprise to find a vegetarian food cafe in the food court.
I have to admit I am not a full vegetarian but we have pretty much vegetarian main meals everyday of the week with maybe a bit of fish every now and then.
