Although this was completed only a few weeks ago I have to tell you the wardrobe renovations we had done are great and so much more practical and the usage of space is amazing.
As you can see from what they looked like before here to what they are now is a great change.
We had the master bedroom done and also only two of the squid’s rooms as well as one already has shelves in it and it didn’t need changing.
I haven’t got enough clothes to fill all the draws and shelves in the new wardrobe.
As is normal with relationships it is about giving and I have given away about two thirds of the wardrobe space to my partner, I shouldn’t say given I should say the extra space was needed to fit all the clothes and shoes in.
In the wardrobe we now have draws, extra shelves (Bottom and top) and pretty much double the hanging space that used to be in there, this is the case for all the wardrobe renovations done.
The difference inbetween the companies that quoted for the wardrobe part of the renovations is that these changes are all pre made and they just come in, knock out the old parts and slot these boxes in and screw them to the wall, so most of the time is spent in preparing the boxes off site and then when it comes to do the job the installation time is short and the final completed job is very good quality, stable and solid.
By slotting in the finished product into the wardrobes this meant we could put all our clothes etc back into the wardrobes straight after the first day of renovations, so this meant no impact on our normal day to day living as the bedrooms in the house were complete and ready to go straight away.
So overall, a great job and we are very happy with the outcome of the wardrobe renovations, I have to be honest, when the hugs n kisses said we were going to spend money renovating the wardrobes I was skeptical and in true male fashion thinking why do we need to, I have a small shelf unit and a bar across the top for my clothes, that’s all I need, how can we improve on this, but I’m glad we did as the outcome has been fantastic.
