Tree services companies here in Brisbane are many, you just look at the listings when you Google “Tree Services Brisbane” and also if you look for “Tree Service Northside Brisbane” or “Tree Pruning North Brisbane” just as many come up, so I thought I’d let you know about the people we use (Or are about to use at time of writing this) for our tree services as they are coming on Wednesday to give some of our tree’s a trim.
We have been in our house for about a year and a few of the tree’s feel like they have exploded in their growth and are getting closer and closer to our decking area, so come the time to book in tree experts to come and quote and then to do the job there after.
My Wife’s parents have used this company before as they had to get a new driveway laid on the land they were subdividing, so they had to get this area cleared, in that case there were about eight trees to remove, stump grind and mulch.
They had done a very good job at this, so we decided to get them in to give our tree’s a prune before they get too big.
Now don’t get me wrong, I had contemplated doing the job myself more than a few times, but this would mean buying a taller ladder, buying tree cutting equipment, maybe a chainsaw, hand saws or buying one of those tree pruners with the extension arms on it.
After contemplating this I thought it would be a bit dangerous for a start and also you have to remember that pruning the tree’s correctly also has to happen, knowing where to cut so it doesn’t affect the tree in the future has to be considered too, so I am leaving it to the experts.
So we contacted the company and they came out within a few days to give us a quote for the pruning.
The process for the quote only took around 20 minutes from when they arrived and also, what I found great was the knowledge of the man too, he gave me a few tips about our garden too in regards to coverage, mulch cover for the back and a few other things too about weed control.
Also I asked about some of the tree’s that are getting very tall on our property and whether they need a trim on top to prevent them getting any bigger, I was told as we have many tree’s in our back yard they are all competing for space up there in the sky line, so if we were to prune the top of any of the tree’s they would grow back fast as they are wanting to get more sunlight than the others on them, so we are leaving them as is.
So, we have the quote for the pruning of the tree’s, we have locked in the day and the time for the job, so I’ll let you know how we go and who we used in my next installment of Tree Services Brisbane Northside, Who did we use?
