Here is the latest Costco Brisbane update for you as I have been down there in the last days and taken some more pictures.
There is plenty of them this time round as I haven’t put any up for a few weeks now as when I wet there last time afte rthe rain we had through Brisbane it didn’t look like much had changed at all.
I also went to the temporary office they have set up in North Lakes, you can see these pictures at the bottom, this is the office in Discovery Drive just past the main North Lakes Shopping Centre.
There isn’t too much change on the outside as they are getting down to the nuts and bolts of the job, it is looking a bit more tidier around the edges though.
Another thing I noticed today too was they are doing up the exists off the highway now and also around that intersection on the Costco side, with the amount of traffic travelling through to Redcliffe from there it had to start to be upgraded in time before the traffic got too bad.
This first picture is at the far car park of the Costco, opposite end from Bunnings.
This next picture is from the same end as the above picture, just with the main Costco building in it.
This is the pictures of the Costco Temporary Office just down the road from the North Lakes main Shopping Centre.
I went in there and still have to go back to sign up, I was just after some information to see the benefits of having a Costco Business Membership as opposed to a Gold Star Membership.
I found out the difference other than having to pay a $5 less joining fee is that you have the ability to split your purchases into business and personal.
This means you can buy for your business on check out and get a separate tax invoice and then pay for your personal purchases and have them on another invoice.
There isn’t any difference in pricing, it is the same low prices for all.
So, I have to go back as I wanted, as most males do, check with the hugs n kisses whether it was worth it getting the Costco Business Membership set up and I think I will which will mean a trip down there again as I go past.
Also worth noting too, if you are thinking of joining, go and do it now while there isn’t many people in there, I’d say as soon as they announce the opening and start to let people know it will be line up time in this office for sure.

The office has about four computers set up and ready to log your details for membership and the staff member on was very helpful.
There is plenty of pamphlets about joining and also how Costco works etc and also a plan of the new store too, lots to look at there and there is many, many isles of products.
Looks are deceiving I’d say once you get into the new Costco and look at it from the inside it is going to be massive.
There you have the latest update in pictures of the new Costco, no news on the opening date as yet but I’m still checking my emails and the office also had no news either.
