When we first moved into the house we are in, as it is a little older, we noticed only one wardrobe was fully utilised for space and even the master bedroom wardrobe only had a hanging pole right through the middle and one top shelf, so, time for wardrobe renovations.
Now this still may sound funny to you that someone would need to spend money on renovating their wardrobe, but the goal was to have more storage and the incorporate draws and shelving into the space we have as well as hanging space of course.
Of course my clothes only take up a third of the space of the wardrobe and the hugs and kisses spread her wings and takes up the other two thirds easily (I’m sure this is the case in many households), so majority rules when it came to layout and design.
We used the same company as the laundry and the office of course for the wardrobe renovations, so ideas were a plenty and also we were given a few weeks to chop and change a few things to suit before finalising the layout and where we wanted everything.
The good thing about renovating the wardrobes and using the company we did was that the make up the whole shell in their workshop and then when they go to install it they just drop it in and attach it to the wall.
A funny thing too about our wardrobe and you can see it on the pictures, is that there are gun hooks at the top, if you step into the wardrobe and look back behind you and up there is gun hooks, now I’m not sure if it was the last owner or the owner prior to them (There has only been two owners of this house) but I definitely know I won’t be using those hooks for anything but cap and hats.
So the wardrobe renovations plans are in as we are changing the master bedroom and two of the squid’s rooms, quote accepted and now we just wait to start.
