We decided to head off for camping at Seventeen Seventy for a long weekend.
It is called both names, Seventeen Seventy as well as 1770 too, just so you know.
The first stages of planning our holiday travel was picking which camping ground to camp at and also what to do in Seventeen Seventy once we got there?
Using my friend Google I/we did the standard search and we settled on four choices of different places to stay.
We had to take in to account it was a long weekend and that there would be a fair amount of people wanting to do the same as us and camp at Seventeen Seventy.
I thought I’d share these with you as well, just incase you need to ring around or check them out before you call them.
Their addresses and contact phone numbers will be at the bottom of the page too for you.
Long story short, we booked one of these camping grounds and then found out one of the kids had qualified for the next level of school cross country.
So we had to cancel booking with one of the above, lost our down payment, and then we rebooked with another that we found out was closer to the beach and also cheaper in the end too.
So it ended up being a better outcome.
Where did we stay camping at Seventeen Seventy?
We settled for Captain Cook Holiday Village for camping at Seventeen Seventy.
