I thought I might change tact a little and start writing about our local area a bit more (Starting with the Narangba Rangers Rugby League Club) , even though I’ll still write about places we go too.
We have a Rugby League Club very close to us called the Narangba Rangers Rugby League Club, they play out of Duncombe Park which is off Williamina Court here in Narangba, Brisbane North, there is a field and club rooms at this park and there are quite a few other sports based here too.
The Rangers have been around since 2005 and started with junior grades with the hope of fielding senior teams in the future.
So the numbers have been growing for this club steadily over the years and the field has just been re turfed a few months ago at the time of writing this, so the field is looking great.
If you are searching for more information on the club the main website narangbarangers.com.au doesn’t have much and just seems all links go to a Rugby League Coaching Manuals website, I’m guessing the person running the club must have a vested interest in this business that is getting back linked which is a pity for anyone that wants to find out more relevant information on the club and get involved or find out when and where the teams are playing.
Sporting pulse does have a bit more information on the club and also all the contacts are there, just hit the Sporting Pulse website and type Narangba Rangers Rugby League into the search.
Who knows, in the near future I may only have to walk down the road to watch a game of Rugby League on a Sunday, here’s hoping.
